Independent Advertising Sales Representatives
Location: 10-county Upstate region of South Carolina

Edible Upcountry magazine is hiring! For the self-motivated, disciplined, results-oriented and outgoing person with proven sales skills, this is the opportunity to bring together a passion for supporting the local food community and larger national local food movement with professional and work/life balance satisfaction.

Our sales territory covers the following 10 counties: Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Laurens, Greenville, Greenwood, Oconee, Pickens, Spartanburg and Union. With Greenville, at the center of the Upstate sales region, currently identified as the fastest growing city in the Southeast and the recent growth of the Edible brand in adjoining geographies (Edible Asheville, Edible Charleston and Edible Columbia all launching in the last 18 months), the market potential is strong for both Upstate-region and Carolina-wide regional multi-title sales.

These sales positions are 100% commission-based, operating as independent contractors with flexible work hours. Positions report to the Associate Publisher with regular virtual and in-person team meetings and support. Sales Representatives receive regular marketing leads, sales tools and CRM support and access.

Excellent communication skills (written and in person), a professional demeanor, a skill for networking, a passion for our region and food community, a detailed-orientation, a relentless focus on follow up and a comfort with working very independently with minimal oversight are requirements for success in this job.

To submit for this job opening, please email a cover letter, resume and three professional references to info@edibleupcountry.com.
