Cultivate is a one-day educational event focused on sustainable and organic growing methods, animal husbandry, financial sustainability for small farms, and more. The event features classes on basic tractor maintenance and operation, building roof trusses, herbalism, permaculture, beginning farming, agricultural labor issues, modern homesteading, foraging, cover crops, soil health, pasture management, and more.

This year, in addition to the Saturday conference, the event is offering other registration options.  The first is a Sunday (1-5PM) Homesteading tour with demonstrations at EarlyBird Farms in Ware Shoals, South Carolina.  This event is limited to 30 attendees.

The second additional event is an after-party at Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery, which is located less than 10 minutes from the conference site. This is for those of you who have asked for a way to continue the conversations started at our main event. The cafe will host a pizza and salad buffet (w/tea or water) along with live music.  Gluten-free options will be available.  Beer and wine will be available from the cafe for an additional charge.
