How to Start a Family Farm

Join Whispering Pines for a special class to help you learn the basics of how to start a family farm. This class will show you how to determine your needs for raising sheep and goats for milk or meat to provide for your family or to start a small business with limited land and resources. You will also learn how to determine the different types of sheep and goats and qualities of different breeds and how it would affect the care or feeding. You will also spend time looking at sheep and goats to help you see the differences to help you make an educated decision before purchasing small ruminants.
