For the past 40 years, “The American Story with Bob Dotson” has been a staple on NBC’s The Today Show, richly colored snapshots of real people and their everyday lives of talent, ingenuity, skill and heart. In the tradition of Charles Kuralt, with the sharp insight of Ira Glass and a warmth all his own, Bob is an expert storyteller. M. Judson Booksellers is proud to welcome him to the Greenville community, where he and his wife Linda now make their home.

To celebrate, they are hosting a Sunday Sit-Down Supper in his honor. Chef Samuel Dominguez from Halls Chophouse is putting together a menu to highlight Bob’s book, American Story: A Lifetime Search For Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things, a copy of which is included in your ticket. Bob will be on hand to talk about all that good stuff that didn’t quite make it to the page, how he got started as a journalist, and what the next chapter holds for him. Get your tickets to this very special evening today.
